Description: Assist clients with name changes and identity document corrections, such as birth certificates, driver’s licenses and ID cards, social security cards, and passports. Clients receiving full representation are those who need additional support to complete the process or who have unique complexities that will require explanation or additional filings. Clients receiving limited scope representation are those who just need help with a specific step in the process. Volunteers should have a minimum comfort level with litigation.
