Please join Volunteer Lawyers Network and Legal Services State Support for a two-part webinar on representing low-income Minnesotans in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases.
This course is designed for attorneys new to the practice of consumer bankruptcy. Our presenters, both Panel Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees, will guide participants step-by-step through a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. Topics include: how to conduct the initial interview; completing the petition; attending the meeting of creditors; and an overview of the bankruptcy schedules and creditors’ rights.
Presenters:
John Hedback, Partner, Hedback, Arendt & Carlson: Mr. Hedback practices bankruptcy and consumer law. He is a Panel Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee and serves as an attorney for a Chapter 13 Trustee.
Mary Jo Jensen-Carter, Partner, Buckley and Jensen: Ms. Jensen-Carter practices exclusively in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. She is a Panel Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees.
