Please join us for the Annual Housing CLE. During last year’s referee panel, the Hennepin County referees asked us to emphasize helping people with repair cases. Following up on that directive, this year we will focus the substantive training on repair issues. We will cover tenant-initiated cases such as rent escrow actions and emergency tenant remedy actions, and will cover repair issues that arise in eviction defense.
This seminar will include a new feature, analyzing hypotheticals. Groups will have the opportunity to be presented with a ‘client’ and will work to analyze the client’s case in a supported setting. Join us if you have been looking for an opportunity to practice before taking on a shift at the Housing Court Project.
